The Telpochcalli School in Chicago Illinois, offers a full inclusion program for children with disabilities. In November 2002 Todd Herman and Amanda Coslor worked with Telpochcalli teachers for three days with three, six hour lecture / demonstrations. Areas of consultation included methods and techniques in using and integrating, movement, rhythm, and visual art to develop body and spatial awareness. These areas included dance, games, writing, percussion, vocalizations, photography, video, animation, drawing and painting. Lectures included assessment techniques, ways to incorporate the arts into class plans, and adaptive technologies for the visual arts. Collaboration was presented as a tool in working with mixed populations and abilities. Resources for getting children's creative work out into the public and out of the "arts and disability" circuit were provided.
